Started on Monday, May 25, 2020, the fourth edition of the Explosive Ordnance Reconnaissance (EOR) course officially ended on Thursday, June 11, 2020 at a ceremony chaired by the Director of the CPADD.
With a duration of three weeks, this training which aims to train technicians capable of preparing and supporting the action of an EOD intervention team (Explosive Ordnance Disposal), counted ten (10) trainees from five ( 05) units (3rd Combined Arms Battalion – 2nd Armored Group – 1st Engineer Battalion – National School of NCOs – CPADD) of the Beninese Armed Forces.
In a context of global health crisis due to COVID 19, the conduct of this edition was a challenge for trainees, instructors and management of the Center; Challenge brilliantly taken up by the various parties, as the three weeks have passed without incident.
Of the ten trainees, nine succeeded in obtaining their parchment; It is therefore with pride that the CPADD makes these new technicians available to the Beninese Armed Forces so that their new skills are put to the benefit of many.
