The new director of the CPADD, since January 5, 2017 is Lieutenant-Colonel Saturnin OBELAKOU who is a senior engineer officer trained at the engineer’s school from Munich, (Germany).
He holds a Master 2 and a War School diploma. He has been assigned 11 years inside CPADD and he has had the opportunity to occupy all the positions as instructor of course and as deputy of the director and chief of training department of CPADD, from 2013 to 2015. In 2015, he became advisor “GROUND” to The military cabinet of the president of the republic that he left to take the head of the CPADD on January 5, 2017.
In addition, LCL OBELAKOU Saturnin has also participated in several external operations under the auspices of the United Nations.
Finally, in the field of humanitarian demining, he attended the course of staff officers of the humnitarian demining sector in 2007 and the course of management, in the programs and projects of humanitarian demining in 2010.
